Race the Wight - Results

A great day was had in classic conditions, sun, fun and wind. Good to see a few taking advantage of the RORC race and well done to the team for organising 130 odd participants.

Four J111's competed, in IRC2 with Chris Jones's Journeymaker in Double Handed mode as well.

Firstly congratulations to Kestrel for a fine performance and under 7 hours to take 4th in IRC2.

A further congratulations to Raging Bull for one of her first races completed and a commendable performance 10th in IRC2, and some great speeds according to the Sail Tracker analytics. A big hand to Journeymaker 14th from 43 in IRC Double Handed. Whilst Snow Leopard brought the fleet home just sneaking in one from last of the finishers in IRC2 with an18th place and just under 8 hours.

Not sure I understand the analytics below but some impressive speeds nonetheless.

And finally from the RORC,

Thanks to all who took part this weekend for RORC Race The Wight. We are pleased to say that we raised over £5000 for the @ScaramoucheST & the @NHS Trusts, so again thank you for taking part!
