A Fast 36' (11.1m) One-Design with Speed to Burn

The J111 is a sleek, speedy, one-design 11 meter yacht, the ultimate day sailing, racing and weekend racing sailboat, with great off-shore capabilities and results. Performance to date in a wide variety of sailing conditions has been nothing short of remarkable. Boats have competed in regattas and races as diverse and challenging as the Rolex Fastnet Race, the Middle Sea Race, international regattas and regional series in both one design and IRC mode.

Internationally there are some 115+ boats/owners across 12+ countries. The Northern European Fleet was formed to further the interests of all J/111 owners and crew in the UK and Northern Europe.

Our aim is to provide a One Design Inshore Race Series whilst providing opportunities for the Fleet to participate in primarily IRC Offshore Races supported and or run by the RORC. The Fleet can provide support to each other in these more challenging environs whilst competing on an international stage. This also gives the opportunity for co-operation between the crews and owners often mixing and matching to compete and complete these challenges.

The J/111 Class is recognised by World Sailing and as a result, is able to hold continental and world championship events, plus have a voice on the World Sailing Classes Committee.

Get in touch if you are interested in racing, becoming a member or owner we will be able to help.
